Question:
My doctor diagnosed me as bipolar about three years ago, which I have trouble believing. I had suffered for years with depression and sometimes with psychotic features. At the time I was diagnosed as bipolar I must admit I slept little, had loads of energy, spent a LOT of money that I couldn't spare, and I felt an incredible sense of well-being and happiness. I seemed to go non stop. I told my doctor it felt like I was in the Indianapolis 500. It lasted about eight months.
I have not felt that way in over 2 ˝ years. My depression comes back, with the psychotic features but I haven't felt "manic" again. Does that positively sound like Bipolar to you?
