Question:
When I was 8-10 yrs. old, I was diagnosed with petit mal (typical). I took medication and then eventually grew out of it. I no longer have the seizures. I'm 24 years old and started having anxiety and panic attacks. I'm scared I might go into depression or turn into a schizophrenic. Does this have anything to do with me having epilepsy before? What are my chances of getting my seizures again? Who do I go to seek help? I'm currently going through counseling for my panic attacks. Do I need to see a neurologist?

Panic is likely a form of epilepsy (nerve cells firing inappropriately and out of control), so you might be more susceptible.
