Question:
My husband has Narcissistic Personality Disorder and
is very hostile. I am not allowed to talk about my
feelings of anger, nor can I mention anything that
he does wrong. He is also ADD. His attitude is such:
"Don't trigger me by saying anything I don't want to
hear." How do I handle this so that I am not left
feeling demolished?

It's going to be extremely difficult. Individuals
with the NPD cannot handle any criticism and lash
out in response to it. Constant compliments without
complaint can make the relationship easier.
You don't have to feel "demolished" by what he says.
For one thing accept that he's ill. For another, you
need some help yourself. I strongly recommend
counseling and to read books about being a more
successful person emotionally such as "Your
Erroneous Zones" and "Pulling Your Own Strings" by

Neil Kauffman, and "Looking out for Number One" by
Robert Ringer.
