My Fiancé is transgendered and is
being assessed for BPD as well. He has
been in and out of the psych ward, had many
suicidal thoughts and actually has tried
killing himself a few times, he is known
to be a cutter when things get really
bad. And he is on testosterone for
his transition from female to male.
Would the testosterone increase his rage?

Contrary to popular belief, low
testosterone in males causes irritability
and hostility. Extremely high blood
levels of testosterone can also cause
irritability and hostility. Getting a
blood testosterone level (best done in the
morning) can give the answer to whether the
dose is right.
It's more likely that the BPD is responsible
for the rage. The necessity of proper
