ANSWER:
It's a useful alternative when an individual is allergic to Prozac. I've found it to be slightly more effective than Zoloft and Paxil. Side effects limit it's use - particularly since many individuals complain of severe fatigue and daytime grogginess on the medication. As with most of these medications, there isn't any significant long term data.
