GOOD DAY TO YOU! I HAVE SEEN A NUMBER OF DOCTORS TO TRY AND HELP ME AND SO FAR EVERY MEDICATION THEY HAVE PRESCRIBED HAS THE REVERSE EFFECT ON ME. WHEN I WAS A SMALL CHILD I SUFFERED FROM HYPER ACTIVITY DISORDER AND THE MEDICATION TO SETTLE ME DOWN SPED ME UP SO THE DOCTOR HAD TO GIVE ME A MEDICATION THAT WAS AN UPPER.
NOW AS AN ADULT, SUFFERING FROM DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY, ALL DRUGS SO FAR HAVE SENT ME INTO DEEPER DEPRESSION AND GIVE ME PANIC ATTACKS (ALL THE DRUGS SO FAR). ALTHOUGH I WANT TO STICK WITH ONE DOCTOR, I CANT FIND A DOCTOR IN THE INDIANAPOLIS INDIANA AREA THAT WILL LISTEN. THAT MY BODY CHEMISTRY IS MIXED UP.
I AM DESPERATE TO FIND MEDICATION SO I CAN LIVE A NORMAL LIFE AND RETURN TO THE WORK FORCE AND DO NORMAL THINGS! PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN.

ANSWER:
You likely have the generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and/or post traumatic stress
disorder. BuSpar will be necessary to treat the GAD. If you have the BPD, worsening your
anxiety disorders - and this includes with medication - will worsen your BPD, causing
dysphoria (anxiety, rage, depression and despair).
The principles remain the same: Make all the treatable diagnoses and treat them. The screening test I use for my patients will be of enormous help.
It's unlikely a medication will work for you, medication combinations are needed. I
encourage you to find out what's wrong so you can get it fixed.
