ANSWER:
By itself none of the SSRI's including Prozac and Zoloft cause a sustained weight loss. I have seen many individuals with the generalized anxiety disorder that got worsened by these medications. Some of these individuals saw their appetite go down, others up. It's related to an individual's normal response to stress and anxiety.
