Q. My friend is referred to as Mozart reincarnated. Her mannerisms and behaviors are similar to those in the movie Amides. Currently, she smokes pot every morning and night because she feels this is how she stabilizes herself. However, under the influence, she becomes a Dr. Jekyle and Mr. Hyde and her thinking is quite twisted. She does not see this. Is this normal? Can you tell me what this is all about? A. Obviously it's not normal or you wouldn't have asked this question! Most people self-medicate problems with the wrong drug, and that drug causes problems also. If your friend is genuinely that mercurial, she may benefit from a good diagnostic evaluation to find out everything that may be wrong and get it successfully treated.
