I'm a 20yr old US Marine. I have been the Corps for almost a year and I have been depressed on and off(mostly on)but anyway The Marine Corps have made my Life a living Hell. I'm having a hard time coping . The Navy doctor I talked to told me I have "Dysthymic Disorder". What does that mean and how can it be treated?

A. Dysthymia is a low level depression, usually characterized by rejection sensitivity, difficulty enjoying life, and irritability. It generally goes away within a few days of taking Prozac.

Like everyone else, you need a good diagnostic evaluation!
