Today I was diagnosed with BPD. I’m in my final year of occupational therapy at University. I feel that I would make an irresponsible therapist. Can I be trustworthy and responsible if I have BPD.
I feel like my whole life has just ended, how can anyone ever love me can I have kids and look after them how will I get a job if I have to disclose that I’m a borderline
A. You're not looking at this effectively. The BPD is NOT a death sentence.
Once all the diagnoses are made and the meds are right you can have a very, very good life. When I treat BPD patients I have as a goal to have them be successful in every important area of life. It is attainable. This website will hopefully be of help to you.
