Borderline Personality Disorder:  What can I do if my child has it?

borderline personality disorder, biological unhappiness

First read "How do I inform someone that he/she has the BPD?". There are many truths about facing facts. Two of my favorite quotes are "knowledge alone will not make you well, but without knowledge you cannot become well" and "the truth can be denied, but it cannot be avoided."

The single most important thing you can do is be a peaceful, happy, serene, loving and successful person yourself. Your child needs to know it's safe to be with you emotionally and physically, and that you have something he/she wants.

You need to get all of your diagnoses made and treated, to get some counseling, and to read as much as possible about being happy and successful.

My new book "Biological Unhappiness" explains most of these disorders and how to get them treated in every way - mind/body/spirit. The screening test I use for my patients is available for free at Biological Unhappiness.
