A Poem from Florida
Dear Dr. Heller,
There are only a few words that I can express for my gratitude. The lord has really blessed me to find the very perfect doctor for me. I am so thankful that you helped me find me again. The day after my last visit with you, I felt so good I wrote a poem. And I would like you to have it...
Sometimes I get odd looks from strangers,
Looking at me as if I’ve lost my marbles.
Their eyebrows scrunched together,
Wearing a long dreary frown, barely
Enough energy to even look up at the sun.
I think to myself what a heavy load of
Despair they carry around everywhere
They Go. That’s not me...I know!
So I take myself to a private place and look
Straight into my face.
All the troubles I may have are probably
Small compared to my neighbors...They
Look so sad.
A frown shall I wear today?
There’s no need.
Happy is the Way I’ll be...
I’ll run and play trouble free....
I’ll pass on the love and happiness that God
Has given so freely to me....
Smiles and Laughter is what I’m after...
Naturally! Because that’s me.
