Just a note to say how impressed I am with your website.  As the mother of two daughters who have both ADHD and trichotillomania, I wish every person could read the articles and information on  BiologicalUnhappiness.com!

My daughters' lives have been greatly improved by their accepting these conditions not as something they have  'caused' but as true biological disorders.

By the way, we've found the most success with trich treatment is using antipsychotic meds.  Risperdal (at low doses) and Adderall has made a "night and day" difference in their ability to achieve success in school, interpersonal relationships, and gain improved self esteem.
